Traditional psychotherapy tends to focus on how a problem developed, whilst Solutions based therapy is more future, rather than past orientated. This approach encourages building collaborative and co-operative relationships with Clients, which in turn provides opportunities for expanding inner problem solving skills.
We consider that it can be more beneficial to focus on seeking solutions than to delve deeply and analyse problems. Having a goal, desire or looking to the future is congruent with how your mind can be rewired, relearn and change for the better. Being stuck in the past usually holds you back and stops you moving forward. Being present and future focused means that you start to design a new, emotionally healthier future.
We believe that everyone has many inner strengths and abilities, which you may or may not be aware of in the moment. You probably can’t remember how you learnt to crawl, to stand, to walk and then run. Yet you did all of those things!
Our journey has shown us how people are able to come out of very difficult situations and turn their lives around. To make lemonade out of lemons. We all know people that despite terrible home lives, they have become happy, fulfilled and content human beings. People are innately resilient however at times, some people seem to lose their resources and inner strengths.
The use of Hypnosis allows you to access your subconscious to gain awareness and access your inner resources. Being open to positive suggestions allows your mind to work out the solution which best fits your needs. Hypnosis can help replace those negative thoughts with positive thoughts.
